Ha, the same amp I had, a 1980 2203. Stupidly sold it in 2003. The only piece I sold over the years I regret selling. I love to get one again, but not for the money they bring today. I'd keep it!

I had a '79 2203 I sold 20+ years ago. My biggest gear sale regret as well. I felt the same way but the regret didn't go away until I bought a '79 2204 a few years ago. Worth every penny I spent and I'm sure I can get more for it now. IMHO, you only live once. So if you want something, get it. Money comes and goes. And, it's one of the most iconic amps ever made. It's likely going to increase in value anyway.

I'd be interested to see the guts. That's a cool amp... :hmm:

If it's in good shape and you're willing to drop to maybe 2.5 or 2.6 I'm interested.

The last pic: my technician told me white resistors attached to EL34 sockets were for easier and more accurate biasing

That's a killer amp by the looks of it! I'm tempted, yet the logistics would be a nightmare. Any idea what shipping would actually cost?

I might.
Thought all 2203 JMPs in great & original condition are all the same from the outside so I detailed insides.

If you were browsing personals would you be interested a girl who says she looks a lot the one in the picture? They're all sisters anyways. Right? The logo mounted for a 1980/1981 is larger than the one you posted. Like this:

No way man. Who's going to give you 2800 euros for an amp without actual photos. It's on the seller to prove that the photos are actual and up to the buyer to get the most proof possible.

Even photos aren't good enough for me on private sales. An interactive video chat with the seller is good. Maybe get the seller to turn dials on the amp while showing the amp in the video. Maybe play a few chords at your request.

Might sound overboard, but even a video link/download sent to me isn't good enough. AI can do amazing stuff. That's how I almost got stung twice.

For instance, someone hijacked a guy's account and used one of their profile photos to make a video for me. They used AI to turn the photo into a video. When I clicked on the video, the photo (video) was talking and saying my name and moving around a bit funny. It looked weird so I called him on it and he disappeared and blocked me. He moved on to the next sucker I guess once he knew I had him pegged.

Verified Dealers are good when it comes to photos proving the item, but not private sales. Not for me anyway.

Buyers beware!

As I wrote in my first post "Pic for illustration only".
That smells scam-y. Why take a whole bunch of photos of the inside, but none on the outside? Is anyone else wondering that?

Are the photos of the inside your amp, or some you found online?

Seems legit to me. Honest mistake. Maybe keep the amp for sale here and post it on Reverb. First come first served.. It's arguably the best year for a 2203 and the last effort from Marshall Amplification as previously known. By 1982 it all turned to shit. If it was me I wouldn't sell this amp. The demand for it is rock solid and should be for years to come.
