Hum-single, basswood 2 piece body glued down the centerline.
all the typical cuts for tummy, forearm, etc, a little more aggressive on the horns for clearing large hands lol.
recessed tele jack, recessed floyd route, one v one 3 way switch.
Neck is 1/4 sawn hard rock maple, glued maple cap, compound 14-16 rad, jumbo freats, older Kramer reverse headstock type, no finish on the neck anywhere.
sheilded cavity with paint as well as the pick up cavities, the pick ups are Sey Dunc 78' custom shop in the bridge, and a single coil no name from the box o' parts. the neck pick up needs upgrading.
I went with relic'd hardware.
Things I learned about building this,,,centerline, centerline, centerline...if you are off by a small amount near the neck pocket, it adds up quick down at the nut!
The fret slots were a pain but bc I was so nervous about cutting them I would make a cut and then think about that one fret slot for a week thinking it was crooked, very OCD about the frets but I learned if it is straight it will be fine.
I have another one I will post soon, oh yeah, brad point drill bits, if you use any other bit, you will tear out chunks of wood like a beaver!
