Start with a big midrange push into the overdrive. That's where the pick attack comes from. Also tons of midrange sustain.

Lookit all the right-hand wrist bling. That mass of ferrous costume jewelry significantly affects the Q of the bridge pickup, which is accounting for much of the tone (if not all). You're gonna need to hit a few pawn shops if you want to replicate that sound, my friend.
