I think forum member tarznamps wins the argument for the most marshalls. there might be someone else, but ive seen his amps and he got a shit load of marshalls.

I agree. In fact I stole a picture of (some) of his amps for my FB page!

Just sold my all original '79 2203, now left with a YJM and JMP1 watt head, two 1960 cabinets, A & B.

It says Marshall and has tubes, it's a Marshall!

Two, a 79 JMP 2203 and a 2005 DSL50. Plus a JVM 212 cab. And I'm not even a fully blown guitarist (I know there's a potential misunderstanding in there somewhere:cool:)

For the record, you can count five 1 watters as one unit, and Valvestates or solid states are not included. They're not real Marshalls.

What about Chinese made SL-5? Is that a fake Marshall?

Jubilee 2553 (real Marshall)
Lead 100 Mosfet (not a real Marshall)
JCM1H (1/5 or 0.2 Marshall)
SL-5 (Chinese made Marshall)

I have 1.2 Marshalls in Aussie standard but 4 in American standard. I think I like American standard better.

SL5 is one unit. I was mainly talking about MG15's and pissy amps like that. Dont even count something like that.

One.

I replaced it with a Blackheart Little Giant combo. The 12" speaker just sounds better to me, the amp drives my 2x12 much better and running the amp speaker and one from the 2x12 is just fine with me.

I have the Class 5 guarding the stuff in my closet. Funny it lost position from the 2x12 Frontman and the Orange 35 ldx (headphone jack, couple of good effects) and I gotta say the dam speaker is starting to sound good. Does not sound like the same amp lately.

Will get another Marshall, perhaps one of the (insert model here). They are bad azz!

I am here for the discussions and the insight on playing offered.
