How much is my jcm800 worth?

Evening all. I'm considering selling my jcm 800 and cabinets
I know it's an early 80s model
50watt head
2 x12 cabs
I'm just wondering what people thought on how much it's worth, it's all working perfectly and sounds great, it was serviced not too long ago.
It just never gets used anymore and it seems a waste

N serial number = 1981
2204 might be in the $2.5k range.
1936 cabs w/ G12-65's could be upwards of $1k each.
(based on stuff I see listed on Reverb)

White tolex and a matching set may add some degree of value, IF someone wants that. (I don't like white... )
Condition, location, shipping and how fast you want to sell it are all big +/- factors.
WORTH is subjective to finding someone who wants it (them) for a price you will accept.

Looks like UK wall socket, and the voltage selector set on 240V. Are you located in the UK? If so, the estimates above might be on the high side (but probably correct for US). Reverb is a good place to look, but remember asking prices can be optimistic.

Have you checked codes on the speakers? Can tell you year of manufacture. If amp and cabs are made same year, and maybe even bought together, could be nice "add-on" for someone.

She's got some relicing, but no holes drilled in the chassis is always a good starting point (unless it's like a verified well known tech's work)

Even if you're not playing it...you could put it in a closet, pull it out in 5, 10 years time, and sell it for more than you would today.

She's no coffin logo JTM45, but still.. They only made so many. And so long as there are still people on earth playing guitar, they'll still be desirable.

Maybe you get a taker for one-five. Jack Black may be interested in buying it, but idk if he wants to pay cash or tries to trade you for that silly guitar pick.

Sweet rig! Seems fairly rare with white tolex, very desirable. As mentioned, Reverb past sales (filtered by most recent) can give you some data.

If you're in the UK, try to get in touch with your local Status Quo fan club... They used those white/cream JCM800's on stage for decades. I concur with what @BlueX said in terms of value.

Also, @aberry9475 d'ya think ya could make those pics in your signature a *little* smaller? They're bigger than the items on sale here...
