I'm no longer a Marshall user. I found a new liking towards my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe.

I gave mine away (HRDX)... had it for 6 years. Sent it to a bud in No. CAL. I love my Marshalls' tone.

The backstage is hard to leave but I haven't been using the Marshall forum as much as I should.

im running 50% marshall, i am loving the tone from my el84 epiphone valve standard, yep, thats right, an epiphone valve standard, she's squishy and sweet, and a little bit modified, but nothing radical, original iron and speaker. run that with the marshall JTM, and a gutted spring reverb unit from an old peavey pa head. lush, crisp, and so nice on the ears. both amps are 1x12 combos too, and i swear, they sound fricken HUGE together. i dont use my 4x12 anymore cuz i simply dont need it.

I play my builds much more often than my Marshall, but I'm still around

I must say I own a Fender and a Marshall, and I'm after another Fender.

I also want another Marshall though.

It's safe to say I'm on the merry-go-round of gear.

I just picked up my second Marshall today after foolishly trading away my first one. JMP MK2 Master Model 100 lead in da house....it screams and drips El34 goodness! I own two Vintage Blackface Fenders but there is nothing like a Marshall for in your face Rock "n" Roll!

Well, actually, I was thinking about the same thing the other day. The Bassman is actually the basis for the early Marshall's anyway. WIN/WIN! :)

I don't even own a Marshall. I like to build early Marshall clones though. And I do appreciate certain Marshalls. Basically any thing from 62-93 I like. Jtm45, 45/100, jtm100, super lead, super bass, jmps, jcm800, the jcm900 mkiii. I also like the TSL100, the DSL, and the jvm410.

Oh. And the smaller el84 amps.

But I have never owned a marshall. Idk if I ever will with the price of vintage marshalls what they are.

You may not use a Marshall anymore, but that ain't a reason to stop hanging in this forum.
