Look through his post history - he has form on having dead amps, asking questions and then trail goes dead.
People must realise that time and thought (well usually) will go into answering these questions, that is more difficult when the amp is maybe thousands of miles away and you cannot see, touch or test anything in the way that you would normally.
Feedback on what works (and what does not!) is really valuable (at least to me) over the 'net. Maybe the mods could compose a sticky saying that if you are going to ask tech questions that there are rules to follow.
