This is the bass -boost patch cable that I did:

You can get more out of an active EQ in the loop, but this works. Also, just try a normal patch cord there, it has an effect.

Ultimately, a better solution is to add one cap to the main board to increase a very small coupling cap, letting more od bass through. Theres a thread on that and some other small internal mods if you want it.

Talk to Jens @ http://www.krusekontrol.com/

Had him do a couple of my amps and I highly recommend at least dropping him an email to see if he can get you where you want to be.

As far as speakers, I have a number of them. The Eminence CV-75 I was really surprised by. They thump and hold together nicely. and if you're fixed on Celestions I have a 4x12 filled with G12H-75 creambacks. Great sounding cab!!!!

Random question but we all have the same amp and I'm looking to implement some of the suggestions here.

I'm cleaning out the pots as my amp currently doesn't go to 0 (it bottoms out on the vol at about 4) and in doing so I've removed the cap over the valve to find a perished O-ring. I left this on my desk last night and the cleaner has thrown it away - any chance someone could tell me size and thickness? The one I've obtained from the workshop here is massive and doesn't fit.
