JCM600 in Birmingham ,AL

Hi all,

I just stumbled across this forum doing a search for a cure for my JCM600 212 Combo amp. Looks like there is a wealth of knowledge and passion for our beloved Marshalls here.

I'm hoping the repairs needed on my JCM602 are minimal. I can still use it live. I have been playing through my Digitech RP500 pedal straight in to the parallel effects loop and it hasn't missed a beat but playing straight in to the Marshall the clean channel (green light) works flawlessly but when switched to the overdrive channel (red light comes on) no sound at all.

I'll be posting here for some tips on what to looks for.

Looking forward to hanging out and getting to know some of you.

it sounds like that relay again to me but, i'm not a tech. I agree with Chuck, someone with more knowledge will pipe in there and probably walk you through.
