I think I'll try and check the bias tonight. Gonna try and pick up a 1Ohm resistor on the way home. Assume 2watt should be ok?
Thanks dreyn, yeah I'll check around those areas and see if I notice anything.
I'll also have a look at the schematic and try to work out which ones are the filter caps and have a look at that. UNfortunately my MM doesn't do capedence though so that may be futile anyway! lol
