You don't need to purchase Marshall branded tubes.
You can generally get those from the place you got the amp.

Go to tubedepot.com and you can get everything you need there. If you need to, call them and ask which might be best for your needs. They have a very large selection of tubes.

I thinks these are a good replacements: - Groove Tubes EL34M or JJ if you want to go discount.
You will probably need a matched quad if it's a 100 watter

I bought tubes from Nesstone a couple times on Ebay with really good results. I bought a quad of EL34's that tested really close. I install a pair & keep a pair for spares for my 40C.

I would never buy "NOS" "tested" tubes.

I have no faith in "tested" old tubes. I know how many defects can occur and I know "testing" isn't accurate.

I know we have bought "tested" old tubes, and about 7 out of 10 were defects...

Buy new tubes, and stop screwing around.

If the amp has a problem: start with new tubes.

Replacement will never be the same part number (VLVE-00092) as a factory tube.
The current reading is rarely the same as the original. Don't expect it to be.
That's why the bias is adjustable.

I also know that a normal "tube tester" tells you about 40% of what you need to know. It is not a definitive complete test.
Don't believe that a tube tester tells you everything, cause it won't.

Buy new tubes, and stop screwing around.

I did that also and wasted time, the seller had 4 "NOS" power tubes i only needed a set, ofcorse the first set had issues so it took me 3 weeks to get the amp going when if i would of just bought NEW i would of saved 10 days waiting for shipping. The second set he sent me were ok but i wont go threw that shit again on "NOS" crap

I saved maybe $15. but it wasnt worth the time i wasted.
