I have a 1980 JMP 1959 mk2 super lead. It’s actually slightly warmer than my1972 SL. I also have a JMP 2203 from 1978 (I think) with the plastic on/off and standby switch and master volume in a combo with 2 g12-65s and it roars! It’s completely different than the1959 not better or worse just different. I love them all.
