Does anybody know if these mini Jubilees can be biased like the 2555x? That is, are the bias points easily accessible on the chassis? Cheers.

I've been thinking about what sort of cab would be best for a Mini Jub head (510mm wide), and I think either a 2061cx cab at 650mm might be good or if you could find one an old 1965 or 1966 cab would be ideal at just 600mm

Or as an alternative get one made to 1965/1966 specs - then you could get silver tolex. I contacted Zilla cabs in the UK and they could make an empty 2x12 600mm wide to around 1966 specs out of nice birch ply for around £400 unloaded plus shipping. Not bad!

1922 is 650mm also and sounds excellent with 2 greenbacks in....or my vs112 is 570mm, only a 1 X 12 though :yesway:

Wonder why they didn't use a V30 in the combo. I am guessing that the greenbacks give a better bottom end on a small cab.

According to this months issue of Guitar Interactive Magazine (Issue #41) there will be a 2 x 12 Silver Jubilee cabinet available for people who want the head version of the upcoming 20 watt Marshall Jubilee.

On Page 89 of the review states, "Though it wasn't ready at the time we filmed our review, there will be a 2 x 12 Jubilee cab available. It's based on the 1936V, but obviously silver vinyl covered and has no skid trays, so it can accommodate both the mini Jubilee head and the 2555X 100 Watt Jubilee Re-Issue. It has Celestian G12 30 speakers and promises to be very tasty"

I've been eyeing the 1 X 12 combo this entire time only because I didn't want to have to play the head through a 4 x 12 cabinet. Personally, that defeated my purpose of having a low wattage amp. But a 2 x 12 matching cabinet definitely turns up the GAS factor on the head version!

Well, here it is! But damn, $900 for the cabinet?

So that's $2,200 if you want the head and the matching cabinet and $1,500 for the combo.

What do you guys think?

I'd like the matching cab but I can't see myself buying it at that price. What's starting to get to me though is the amount of time we've all had to wait till the release of this thing. This thread started January 21, we're getting near to four months later and still no release.

I've got mine on order and was told mid May about five weeks ago. They didn't tell me what year though, so I guess it could be my mistake thinking they were talking about 2016.
