Good evening all, I haven’t been on in quite awhile, I took a leap of faith and accepted a new job which requires a lot of travel, but finally getting settled in. Just wanted to share my nad to me. I have added to my beautiful collection. It is in the middle.
1st on left is my 1984 4210 with 1933 extension cab
2nd (middle) my newly acquired 1983 4104 with 1936 cab
3rd on right is my entrusted 1978 2204 with 1960AX cab.

This is the perfect versatility to me from small to big venues.

Question.....why did you buy a 4104 when you already have a 2204? especially when you already have extension cabinets.....

Congratulations! Welcome back and a nice collection. We have similar tastes in amplifiers.

I owned an ‘84 JCM800 4010 and an ‘83 4104. I loaded both of them with G12-65’s. Speakers just perfect for those two amps.

I also owned a few mid to late ‘70s JMP 2204’s.

Because I can lol. JK. It is because different venues calls for different amp options regarding stage real estate and such. I can use it with out the extension cab, or with. Also they are tonally different. The 2204 4x12 cab is loaded with greenbacks, the 4104 is loaded with G12-65s as well the ext cab. The 4210 and ext cab are loaded with G12-75. Also I bought the ext cabs with the amps I didn’t already have them.
