Based off this thread, I searched for a 4010 when getting another Marshall. I found an 81 4010 that needed some cosmetic love. I retolxed it and cleaned it up. The amp part seems to be in great shape.

It has hum, but not sure what is normal vs. needing new caps as a few have mentioned.

I bought it for the Marshall growl, but have been playing the low-input side a lot the past few days. Incredible chime, clarity and touch.

Thanks for highlighting this badass amp. While compact, sounds massive.

I have been wanting one of these for years. How much does that beast weigh? I am afraid I would get tired of carrying it. They sound amazing so it may be worth the back pain.

I don't have a scale, but based on this thread, the 4010 with the G65 speaker appears to be 53lbs. Seems about right based on when I pick it up.
