New Bay Area (and online) Hot Mod V2 Evo and Mr. Scary Mod dealer

A pretty big and surreal day for me personally. The Bay Area guitar store I’ve been shopping at since I was 14 years old is now an official dealer for both Hot Mod V2 Evo and Mr. Scary mods. Guitar Showcase in San Jose has always been my favorite place to go for many unique and vintage items as well as my favorite brands of gear. Visits were always special and it wasn’t just about the gear, but also the many hours of great conversations and friendships made with the wonderful staff over the years.

My very first 1976 2203 was found there (when I was 19 and I still have it) as was my 1987 Silver Jubilee. So many great finds over the years.

Yep, My mom bought my Fender Jaquar from Guitar Showcase about 1974.
It is a much smalller store now. I recently bought a new EVH Stealth LBX from them.

Great store, been going there since the late 1980s. Glad they've stuck around even after giving up one of their buildings.
