Picked up this cool Peavey student bass for cheap off CL. Its not too bad at all.
Got it to have a bit of fun. I'm finding that the 6101 is great for bass. Since its only playing at home on the 50w setting the EV12lL seems to tolerate it fine.
I've found this Marshall is good for bass I've been getting similar sounds to Lemmy, Chris Squire and more.
These 6100's with the 3 channels and switching variations have a lot of useful tones, no matter what the volume.

Peavey makes ( still?) great guitars and basses. I have an early ‘80s T-26 Strat and a a PB/Jazz bass. Great stuff.

Enjoy!
