Been wanting this exact axe for awhile now, but the prices were stupid expensive.

Local Clist find. Reasonable deal.

In excellent condition just needed a few changes

Nearly all stock.
That's really nice congrats! What's the weight and pickups?

I'd guess close to 8lbs. 498t and 496r. I will have a set of chrome covered 57s, and a 500t available ..u interested?

Stock is 496/500

Alt G-set would be 490/498

496/498 would be a weirdly deliberate mod. i’m guessing stock.

Nope, I ripped out that god awful 500t and replaced it with a 498t. 496r is stock and in the neck position. I will take that out eventually too. The 490r is probably what I will replace it with.

As I said, “weirdly deliberate.” No grief given on that 498T swap, being a big fan. The 490R OTOH is a steaming pile of muddy dogshit and the ONLY stock pickup I HAD to remove (rather than “preferred to experiment with something else”).

I bought a socal a 70's one , i see this as a 67 reissue with some 70's specs, the pickups are very hot, the bridge is 14,50 k ohm and the neck is 15,64 k ohms and i bought it new for 2.00,39 euro instead of 2.690 euro and i like it here is a picture of it

That's the vibe I get off of one. Basically a '67 reissue (as far as body thickness goes) with added pickup rings. I like the natural finish.
