Not really all that new...

I find that for all the years I've referred to this board, and my original post under "JeffCooper" was quite a long time ago. That post was about the brand new Marshall JFX-1. Some how I was re-issued my old username and Im here because I had some specific questions about newer Marshall gear.

Anyway - Jeff Cooper here! Playing through a variety Marsall's since I could afford my first. I've also tried most "new" amps and wheeled and dealed for years in my quest for "tone".

I discovered two things:
1. You almost always land back on a Marshall
2. Tone comes more from your hands and fingers than your amp and guitar
