Original 2555 Jubilee Channel Switching Backwards!

I just bought an original 2555 and plays great. Only issue is when powered on with channel switching knob pushed in, the red LED is on. When it is pulled, it goes out. The switching is following the LED indication. There is nothing plugged in to footswitch jack.

I have another one that does just the opposite.

I pulled the chassis and the only abnormality I found was the red and black wires on the Rhythm Clip push pull pot were soldered opposite of all the others I have looked at in pics, so I swapped them but still same issue.

Any ideas?

I recently bought the 2555x reissue and in the description for the reissue it says that they fixed a switching problem that some of the originals had. I believe they mentioned a relay in that description.

That is an earlier one and most likely has the board and relay snafu issue.

Hopefully it sounds strong with balls. If not it needs attention.

It sounds ok, maybe a little quite for the volume settings and power level.

Tried to bias and reads 0.00, started another thread on that one.
