hi
thought i take it out down hear..
so my power tranny does not heat at all...after one hour loud volume there is just a little tiny bit of heat.
is that normal???
before i had the pre amp socket removed and replaced (bad socket) i needed a fan to cool down the power tranny.. because i could not lay my hands on it for more than 5 seconds
what's going on???
thanks

Is there anything actually wrong with the amp now, because it seems like it's working properly now, great!!

They will heat some, but keep in mind heat is wasted power. So if your amp is fully working as it should and your PT isn't getting that hot, that's a huge bonus. Sounds like it's operating much more efficiently than it was.
