I built this guitar a little over two years ago, using an MJT '60 Strat Relic body and a Musikraft custom Fender-style neck. The body was pretty straightforward- just a reliced copy of a 1960 Fender Strat body in alder with a 3-tone sunburst. The neck, however, was purely custom ordered and doesn't really adhere to pre-CBS Fender specs. The neck was ordered as follows:

Strat Neck (2 pc)

Scale: 25.5 Standard Fender

Number of Frets: 21

Nut Width: 1.650 (41.91mm)

Tuner Holes: 11/32 Vintage Kluson Style

Truss Rod: Dual Acting Adjust @Heel

Fretboard Radius: 12"

Fretboard Style: Slab

Nut Slot Style: Fender Flat Bottom

Shaft Wood: Rock Maple

Fretboard Wood: Darker Rosewood (+$25)

Top Dots: Imitation Synthetic Clay Dots

12th Dots: Wide- Pre-'64

Side Dots: White 2mm

Side Dot Loc: Centered on Fingerboard

Fret Wire: Medium Jumbo 6150 Nickel Silver

Fretboard Edges: Semi-Rolled

Back Profile: Charvel Pro-Mod .79-.85

Finish: Thin Lacquer Sealer (+$20)

Nut Install: Install Slotted TUSQ Nut (+$35)

The other specs are as follows:

Genuine Fender 11-hole pickguard, black 3-ply, with aluminum shielding tape underneath

Fender Original '57/'62 pickup set (Formvar magnet wire, Staggered hand-beveled pole pieces, Alnico 5 magnets, and Cloth wiring and fiber bobbin)

Kluson Traditional 6-in-line oval metal button nickel locking tuners (SD9105MN DR/L)

OC Custom Guitars heavy-duty stainless steel neck plate and screws

Switchcraft 1/4" output jack, CTS 250K pots, Orange Drop cap, and CRL 5-position pickup switch

Chrome standard Schaller straplock buttons

Factory-aged Gotoh Vintage-style tremolo with steel block- (GE101TS)

Control cavity painted in shielding paint and lined with aluminum tape.

This guitar sounds MAGNIFICENT and plays like a dream. I hate to part with it, but I have a mountain of medical bills to pay.

Final price drop- $700 shipped & insured via PP Gift, or add 3%

I've had a couple of questions about the weight, so I thought I'd add that information for anyone interested. My digital bathroom scales put it at 7lbs 4oz.

Final price drop is my bottom line of $700 shipped & insured via PP Gift or add 3%. I'll give it a little while at this and if it doesn't sell, I'll gladly keep it and search for another sacrificial lamb outta my collection. I kinda got distracted by what "might be" with the trade angle and lost sight of the purpose of selling it to begin with...which is the need to whittle down this seemingly insurmountable pile of medical bills.
