spam on the forum

Is there a way to prevent new users from coming in here and posting advertisements? I'm tired of seeing ads for mobile phones here.

Why aren't these threads deleted?

Ban LIVEDEAL and DEVICEWISE !!!

They are spammers and are not welcome here. Please delete their posts and their posting priveleges.

Is there a way to prevent future spammers, because these two are not the only ones.

I have banned and removed all of the spammers' threads.

Let me know if I've missed one.

I'm working on changing the way people can register on the forum and making it harder for spammers to auto-register and spam.

I was away for a week and just got back. Recently took care of the spam accounts and threads.
