While I wait for the 3210, I started on the head shell redo for the G215RCD to match the cabs I built for my now gone Class5H.
First, a before pic for reference, and detailed plan on a post-it note stuck to the saw fence for easy reference:

Got out the table saw and some salvaged 1/2" plywood.

Clamps, clamps, clamps.

Everything is pegged and glued, no nails or screws.

Test fit:

Also waiting on tolex for this and the 3210.
Still got some work to do to mount the chassis and wiring and such before the tolex.

Thanks.
Might be more accurate to say I have some nice tools...
I got a lot of my tools for my antique clock restoration and furniture building hobbies.
These plywood amp and speaker boxes are a sinch.
Reminds me of my Uncle who loved working clocks and watches and had the coolest old Grandfather clock that had some loud chimes . My compliments to your woodworking tools !

Gotta love that "Marshall logo" on the layout paper! :applause:

Thanks to everyone.
Got the front & rear panel mounting cleats in, and a quick coat of black stain.
Trimmed the panels for the tolex & piping gaps and mounted everything for another test fit.

Mojotone order is due Wednesday, and the 3210 comes Friday.

If anybody is wondering the fate of the empty green/basketweave head shell, I found this to stuff in it. :D

Should be here Saturday.

It's a little narrower chassis, but larger than the opening between the face frame sides. :yesway:

Got a few more things done this week.
I mounted the speaker jacks and the power jack in the back of the chassis.

Tolex came today, so I slapped it on and stapled down the piping to the face plates.
Also added some vent ports to the back panel with some gold painted mesh.

Here's some pics on the cabs.
Still need to work on those f-ing cut corners a bit and smooth out a few spots.

The 3210 from GC got stuck in Arizona for an extra day thanks to our friends in the brown trucks, so delivery got bumped to Monday.
