Switching power tubes in a JTM45

I have a first year 1989 JTM45 Resissue head with the stock 6L6 power tubes. Would there be any problems (biasing, transformers, etc..) with changing them to a matched pair of EL34's? I'm looking for a little earlier breakup. Any input is much appreciated.

I would change the screen grid resistors to 1.5k or 1k if they are not already. Other than that I believe everything would be fine as long as you rebias.
