This one's more obscure...

I vaguley remember that one. I had a friend who lived down the street who had at least 100 NES games, and I remember he had that one. We had a woman who lived in our neighborhood who would go to stores in other towns and clean them out of NES games. This was back before they started locking them up up in cases. She would go around the neighborhood with garbage bags full of them.

Voltron was my favorite cartoon hands down. I liked the Tigers though, wasn't too fond of the cars in outer space.

I remember making a certain magical leaf picture w/ those then taking the screen off & just sticking a blacklight bulb in it.

Kiss came to town. 1980. there's a Kiss dvd of sydney 1980 performance.

Rock Hudson died.
so too the happy disco era went with him. the new 'night club' dirty seady atmosphere took over.
opium dens were well and truly a thing of the past.
Americans were obsessed with war films.
the really big movies were dead!
hair and fashion became really stupid styles.
there was no music from the pre 50's played. music from the 50's 60's and 70's was frowned upon.

I never understood that secret barrier to 20 year old music.
go and learn piano and you'll be taught really old piano tunes.
