What is the difference in UK voiced speakers, such as the Greenbacks and Vintage 30's, and USA voiced speakers like Jenson or Eminence?
My understand is that USA speakers are scooped in the mids with a smoother drive and UK speakers are focused in the mids with an edgy breakup.
Basically, just asking if Greenbacks would sound good in a Fender amp, or should I stick with USA voiced speakers like the Eminence Patriot series.
The amp in question is a Fender Blues Deluxe. I would like it to sound a little more "woody" or "throaty" in the mids. I love the Fender tone, so I would hope that maybe an Eminence Private Jack could give some nice Mids to a great sounding Fender amp.
