Very weird: Blue 30th Anniversary Cabinets

If you are familiar with the blue Tolex Limited Edition of the 6100 head and combo with highgloss brass/gold chassis, you might are aware of the respective cabinets. Typically the slanted 6960ALE 4x12, the straight 6960BLE 4x12 and the little 6912LE 1x12 with 200Watt Celestion Gold Speaker found in the 6101LE Combo.

Recently I became aware of a blue Tolex / brass gold Logo 2x12.

Do you have one? Would you please post pictures of the cabinet?
A pic of the back badge would be great, of course.

What was the model number of it?
(Following the logic of the 4x12 and 1x12 it could be 6936LE)

I don't believe a 30th anniversary 2x12 cab is mentioned in any of the Marshall books. Maybe try getting in touch Michael Doyle, the author and see what he thinks.

Can original owner provide some more details? It looks factory but never heard of it or seen it in any literature.

It might be a recovered 1936 with gold badge and lettering from another cab? It even has the angled baffle of a regular 2x12.
Very strange, it is not in any literature or Marshall's site so I would be believe it is not a stock product.

Recovered? Maybe, except I've never found that particular shade of blue tolex ANYWHERE. I swear Marshall must have special ordered a unique color for the 30s. Never seen a scrap of it for sale or trade for love nor money.

If it existed, I'd have some. And would have used it.

We are also forgetting about the Marshall Custom Shop !!!
If a customer were to ask for a special 2x12 cab to match the 6100 , I'm sure it could be done etc etc .

Marshall did a special order for that tolex.
That has been confirmed by Marshall.

Kayline Processing will do custom dye colors on as little as a single 100 yard roll of tolex. For custom textures, the MOQ is higher.
