The one tool you could not live without?
The one that does most of the work for you?
The one thing at your disposal that you always end up using?

Tell me yours, then I will tell you mine...

A Leatherman Wave. Its nearly as old as I am. I think my dad bought it around the late 90's/early 2000's. Nothing on it has ever been sharpened and its still like new, despite years of use.

This one isn't mine, but its pretty much identical.

Totally trade dependent.

For amps a good variable iron with a few different size tips, solder sucker, a nice set of small round nose pliers.

For wood working a 2 3/4 horse router can be made to do almost anything you can imagine so it's the number one followed by the table saw then chop box.
