What is the proper method of connecting a 900 SLX to a 1936 212 and an mc212. Both cabs to the individual speaker outs?

Good question, but sorry, I have a bad answer.

Could be problematic if both cabs have stock speakers.
The 1936 should have a pair of 16 ohm T-75's, so 8 ohm mono.
The MC212 should have a pair of Marshall/Celestion 8 ohm 65's, so 4 ohm mono.

The SLX should have parallel speaker jacks switchable for 8 or 16 ohm.
The two cabs parallel would be 2.67 ohm, so don't do that...

Can you confirm that both cabs have original speakers?

I have two mc 2x12 cabs with origional speakers. I rewired both cabs with speakers is series, so both are 16 ohms, so I have 2 16 ohm cabs. I guess that doesn’t help if using with an 8 ohm 1936 cab though.

Series wired MC212 to 16 ohm and the 8 ohm 1936 would be a 5.33 ohm load on the SLX parallel jacks.
Looks like the amp can be rewired for a 4 ohm output - not ideal, but doable.
Some 16ohm speakers in the MC212 and a series cab merger box would be a simple (but not quite free) solution...

Yes original. I homed them out and it is pretty much as you said. So I’m just using the 1936 in 8 ohm from SLX. Maybe I can rewire the mc212 or put in some rated speakers to get the 8 ohms. I appreciate the response.

Ohmed, not homed. Spell check.

I put some 16 ohm speakers in a VS212, so I could pair it with a stock 1922 - both cabs are now 8 ohm mono.
The amp I'm using has a 4/8/16 ohm output selector, so I can run them parallel on the 4 ohm tap.
With a Palmer Cab Merger, or DIY series box, you could get a 16 ohm load on the SLX.
