I've really been getting into old Aerosmith lately. I only knew the "hit" songs until I started listening to full albums. Man these guys had some killer riffs back in the day.

& yesterday, they formally called it quits...

I guess Tyler injured his voice & they cancelled a bunch of shows, for their farewell tour. Sounds like, his recovery is doubtful that he will fully recover. They decided then, that it's time to call it a day...

yep, & his voice did hold out longer than many of his contemporary's.

He's 2 years younger than my dad who died last year. I'd say he's doing pretty good considering his lifestyle for so many years.

Steely Dan and later Donald Fagan. Those were some cool nerds. I liked them when they were new, but bowled over by them now. Of course they'd get the hottest guitarists to solo, and Walter was damned sharp himself.
