I took the pickguard off my new (to me) ES-347 while I was working on the pickups (I'll post more on that later). I can't decide whether to leave it off or put it back on. Ignore the visible wires in the f hole, I'll get those bundled out of the way. What do you think?

The only guitar I have a pick guard on is my V because its holds the wiring in place with the pots.

I say on. A guitar always seems naked without one. And its functional too, for you can rest your pinkie on it.

I like LPs without a pichguard and I though I would prefer Gibson Hollowbodies the same way, but seeing the side by side pics I prefer the pickguard on.

I like the color of the 1st one, but out of those 3 I like the one in the middle best. Nice flame, nickle hardware, pointers, nice looking trap inlays, darker rosewood board, amber switch tip...that baby has the vintage vibe that I just like...whether the pickguard is on it or not! :slash:
