I’ve only had 2 rigs for the last 4 years……

Stock 71 1987/68 t1221 Pulsonic halfstack.
Stock 79 2203/77 Blackback 30/V30 halfstack.

And lately I’ve been mostly on the former. With either rig I usually go straight in with one of my 2 guitars, both LP’s with the amp set to medium crunch. I’ll sometimes add a boost for heavier sounds or creamy solos.

Still run the same 1992 JCM900 4502 as my main gigging amp (country, current rock , classic rock). I’ve performed all the maintenance to it so once new. A speaker swap, capacitor swaps, numerous tube changes…etc. I don’t know why anyone would give up a relationship with an amp that you “bond” with. I keep other amps for various reasons/projects but this one is magic.
