    I also check the Slash sig. head, it has the same exact layout as US SJ 2555 (layed down transformer). I'm interested to know what the difference tonewise.

    Adwex, Is there any difference (schematically) between Silver Jubilee 2555 US & Canadian model (other than front switches)? I notice the canadian model has the far left transformer different from US SJ 2555? (See attachment)

    Congrats! I suggest you try getting an attenuator. I'm using THD hotplate, it works like charm.

    Congrats man! Yea, it's freaking loud, that's why I bought an attenuator, THD hot plate is my best pick. Sorry for asking this, because mine is a canadian switches model, what are the 3 knobs on the left, I know red is the power, middle is standby, what's the other one?

    I would try getting an 10 band eq first then the overdrive pedal. I tried it without the od pedal, just the eq, it sounds amazing!

    Well said, an Attenuator is a must. Get a THD hot plate, it's one of the best out there. Ambrosius, I felt exactly the same to my amp as not having enough gain. You gotta have an overdrive pedal in front of the amp. If TS808 is out of your budget, try a MXR Zakk Wylde Overdrive, used is around...
