I unfortunately need the money more than than the amps, so these need a good home.
Let me know if you have any questions or if you wanna make an offer, I'm open to it.
Thanks.
YJM100: $2000 shipped in the lower 48.
All original, even the tubes don't have a lot of wear on them because I used...
OH, crap, I forgot to put a price?
$325 shipped with GS gig bag and blade protector.
jstar,
If you are interested, I'll be in PA next week.
I leave Saturday morning, so let me know before then and I'll bring it with me and maybe we can meet up.
I bought this on a whim when my 12 yr old was with me, and it actually plays pretty good, but I need to move it if anybody here is interested.
$350 shipped in the US?
Thanks,
I'm not pulling tubes for tone purposes, it was to not over load the 50 watt cab.
I suppose if I just make sure I don't crank it, it should be fine though, correct?
I figured that there would have to be some changes made to run 34s instead of 88s, but I was just curious if it would...
Basically, I like the thought of a hot rodded 800 with a built in gate, I never used those type of tubes and I don't think it has the same punch as my 800 combo, so I was curious if it would be closer by changing the tubes.
I bought it because I was curious about it.
I like some things about it.
I never owned a Marshall with KT88s so I figured I'd give it a shot.
You don't know until you try right?
I don't WANT a 50 watt version to keep it like that, it's just for one night so i didn't blow the speakers.
I have two (possibly) stupid questions.
1. I was told if I pull either the two outside tubes or the two inside ones, a 100 watt amp is now a 50 watt and double the ohms, so use the 8ohm for a 16 ohm load and 4 for an 8, is this correct?
(i want to try it with the band and I have a 50 watt...
This may be a dumb question, but are the 6550 fatter tone wise than an EL34?
I love my YJM and JCM800 4212 but is it worth converting them to 6550 for a little more thickness?
the reason i ask is because I played an '84 2204 at GC and granted it was also being played through a stock 1960...
