I have three amps, where two get use at the moment. A Marshall DSL1cr and a '73 Silverface Fender Champ. Due to living in a crowded area, I use low wattage amps. My third amp is an old Trace Elliot Tramp - a hybrid, wich is to loud for now.
I heard and played on lot's of expensive boutique...
Well, what can I say...... I live very close to all my neighbors, and therefore I decided to downsize. I have this 4 watt Fender Champ for my warm cleans, and a Marshall DSL1CR for the rest of my tones. Placed both amps on ear height. This way it sound loud for me, but not for my neighbors.

Oh yes, I forgot to tell I have another amp: a Trace Elliot Tramp - a hybrid amp with 3 channels and around 75 watts into a single 12" Celestion. Do not use it anymore, lives on the attick right now waiting for a gig.......
Nope, it is a real SP from '97 - they came as either Kenny Roberts replica's or Christian Sarron replica's - at least here in the Netherlands........ Could be there where other SP's around the world though, I'm not shure about that!

I have a DSL1CR and the 8 inch speaker doesn't bother me. It does not have the oomphh of a bigger sized speaker, but that was not what I expected...... For home and small jams a second hand DSL5 would be great for you, for home use only a DSL1CR would do!
I just bought a DSL 1 CR. It is all tube, two channel but no spring reverb - it is digital. It is a fine amp sound bigger than it really is.
I can recommend it to you!
I have this cheap chinese made aby box from Fame (household name of Music Store Koeln) - in Y mode with two amps no phase problems or hum at all.....
