    I just took some better pics of the dates on the cones and frame. I noticed these cones have very raised ribs. More raised than my 77' Celestion Blackbacks with Mueller cones. These also appear to have a wider coil and magnet compared to the Blackbacks.

    GC Marshall price increase

    Actually the price of wood has really shot up as well. For example, the price of an eight foot 2x4 has doubled or more in the past year. Basically all building materials for anything are up.

    I love my 61' reissue. I dropped in a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge and it sounds amazing through my 800 and JMP. The Dimarzio SD is the key IMO. Not the prettiest on the block but the best sounding to me.

    Yeah I will try them out. The cabinet looks like it's in awesome condition for a 800. I might just get it for the cab. It's nicer than my 800 cab. Obviously could just sell the speakers if they don't sound as good as the Blackbacks.
