    If you crank up the mids it will sound very vintage. TSL is an awesome amp. The spring reverb is not that great. JVM digital reverb is way better. Or the digital reverb on a modern DSL. And one last point, the TSL will really sound great if you crank it up through a greenback loaded cab

    I like em even more since Fender bought them out. I think this guitar came out of the fender plant in California. Its been my main workhorse for a long time. Also has an EVH humbucker in the bridge.

    I have a lot of amps. I have found that the high gain amps, like the JVM, JCM2000, etc. are great to plug into and play. If you want an amp with pedals as your overdrive and distortion, these are not the best. Your better off with an older marshall with lots on clean headroom. Or I might add a...
