Another user on the official Marshall forum confirmed the same as me: his new code has software version 1.45. I received a mail from Marshall saying they were looking into it. No need to go to the store, as I'm sure my amp had version 1.45.
I asked the question on my.marshall.com a few days ago, but the answers I received from Marshall support were:
The latest version is 1.44, there is no 1.45, you have the latest if its 1.44.
1.44 is the latest firmware, we have not released any after this one, there is no way to restore any...
Yes I have, I sent an e-mail two days ago, but still no news. I wanted to ask the question on the forum too, maybe there are people who know the answer. :-)
Hi,
I recently purchased a Marshall Code 25. Two days ago I decided to update the firmware. Originally it had version 1.45 on it (according to the screen on the amp, I checked by pressing the PREFX, REV and MOD buttons), but after the update it now has version 1.44. However, I can't find...
Yeah, I do like it. I like the cleans and AC/DC crunch you can get on the clean channel, I like the amount of overdrive you can get on the dirty channel, I love the ISF knob, I love the reverb as well. And I love the fact that it sounds good at all volumes. By the fact that there's some weird EQ...
Dudes, let's give my opinion on them. I've had one for more than 4 years now. I have the HT1-R combo version. I use it with a 1x12 closed back cab with a Celestion G12M-70 (my favorite speaker). It sounds rather good. But... When compared to my other tube amps, such as the Orange Dual Terror and...
I had a 4100 a while ago. It was my main amp for 6 years with a 1960 cab witch Celestion G12K85's.
The good:
-the cleans were... WOW!
-Loads of headroom
-VERY versatile. If you didn't like channel B, you could push channel a with a pedal and go from there
The bad:
-You had to put the master...
I'm looking for a lightweight solution, combined with a great sound. Is there a difference in sound between a single 2x12 cabinet and two 1x12 cabinets used together?
Don't do it. The DSL40C is more versatile. I had a Class 5 combo, but sold it within a week. It had that terrible rattle they're famous for and the overdrive sound was terrible. The cleans were great though.
I've recently sold my big Marshall gear (JCM900 4100, JCM2000 DSL100, 1960 4x12). I only have an MS2 and MG15CD left to tinker with. The JCM900 was ok for what it was, but it had to be way too loud to sound good. Same with the DSL, although it sounded great and was too heavy and big. The 4x12...

-Gibson 490T, almost never used, came stock in a 2016 SG Faded: $55 shipped
Well, it has two channels or modes: normal and boost. Normal goes from the typical Marshall clean to plexi sounds. Boost is the high gain channel, which at the extreme end sounds similar to a JCM900. The lower gain sounds on that channel sound quite vintagey. I do think it's better for more...
I used a plastic neutrik switched jack. I drilled a hole on the particle board back panel for it. The problem persists with the stock speaker, an external cab and the headphone out.
I already tried the things you suggested. The contact cleaner did the trick, but it only lasted for about 5 minutes. I cleaned every pot, switch and jack. I'm taking it to my guitar tech tomorrow, he fixes amps too.
