Yea, I like the MG100 best for a solid state amp. The 12ax7 tube in the Valvestate makes a nicer distortion than the MG and it is a hybrid.
For the same money though I'd go for a Class 5 head. It's all tube and sounds almost as good as the big all tube heads when it's cranked. Just need to...
Thanks! I have a problem with resisting buying anything that has a Marshall logo on it. I've also got a Marshall tuner, several Marshall T-Shirts and a Guv'nor distortion pedal.
