It's great for a solid state amplifier. As far as what I like, I think it's the best solid state I've ever played through actually.

Thanks! I have a problem with resisting buying anything that has a Marshall logo on it. I've also got a Marshall tuner, several Marshall T-Shirts and a Guv'nor distortion pedal.

Yea, there's two 100 watters sitting on the upper left of the picture. I like the Valvestate better.

Yea, I like the MG100 best for a solid state amp. The 12ax7 tube in the Valvestate makes a nicer distortion than the MG and it is a hybrid.

For the same money though I'd go for a Class 5 head. It's all tube and sounds almost as good as the big all tube heads when it's cranked. Just need to mike it for band rehearsal and gigging.

Yeah...buy one Marshall, then another, then another...until you get 12. That should be good for awhile.
