There was a head and cab for sale close to me last week but......I'm in the UK! If you are willing to consider shipping then I'm happy to get in touch with the seller and put you guys together? I think the price for both was around £425 and he had the original Marshall shipping carton.
Cheers...
I never mind giving forum members parts I'm not going to need so replied to this 'wanted' post because I had an old 60s bulgin socket. Went to the trouble of finding it, no mean feat, taking photographs, uploading them to my photobucket page and then uploading them to the thread.
Then what...
No probs, it's here and I'm not going to be using it and you are welcome to it. I can't test it but can't imagine that I would have kept it if there were any issues and to be honest, what can go wrong with a bulgin socket?!!
If you get really stuck I have an old one (late 60s I think) in my parts box....I'm in the UK so it would have to be posted. It's just the socket you need, not the plug? photos here:

Not a silly question at all! :)
Yes, I have the Bulgin power cable with the correct size Bulgin plug on the end which plugs directly into the socket on the back of the amp. They run absolutely fine in the US with an AC-AC converter (stepdown tarnsformer). I use them for my my Fender tweed...
Hi Guys
Got 3 of these lovely little amps and have made the decision to sell 2 and keep one.
As you can see, all 3 amps are in great cosmetic condition and are also all original......as far as I am aware anyway, please see images.
Two of the amps have Bulgin plugs and leads and the other...
These are VERY nice amps (I have 3 PA20s from '71 and '72) but you are really looking at a value of around £1000. A Lead and Bass sold on Ebay UK recently for £1075 and admittedly that wasn't 100% original but it gives you a ball park.
If you're offering it for sale on the forum then I'd...
I use pedals very rarely but needed an analogue delay for the odd moment and tried a Joyo analogue delay a friend of mine had. Now I'm not a pedal afficionado but I thought it was pretty damn good and at less than £20 new in the UK it has to be the bargain of the century. I know people often...
Right, I got a quote from Transglobal to ship the amp to the USA and I was amazed how cheap it is. A hell of a lot cheaper than the last head I sent to the US. Also, there is no VAT (value added tax) to pay either. So, the cost using UPS is £52.63 which is $85 and to insure it for £1000 it...
Hi Guys
I was just going to edit a post in classifieds to include p/ex and swap options and I can't find the edit option. I'm sure it used to be there??? I was logged in etc etc and there were edit options on replies to the post but no edit option for the original post. Any ideas?
Cheers

Yes, they are wonderful little amps! :) Hugely underrated in my opinion. I much prefer them to the 50 watt heads but that's purely a personal thing and probably more to do with EL34s versus EL84s than anything else. I have an early 60s AC30 so my ears are tuned in to EL84s.
The 2061X is a...
Hi Guys
I have 3 Marshall PA20 heads; one is a '71 and the other two are '72. All three are, as far as I'm aware, completely original bar valves and all are in amazing condition. I no longer need 3 so wish to sell two of them.
There are detailed photos of each amp on my Photobucket page...
Hi guys
I've been going through my parts drawer and thought I'd get rid of a few things I'll never now use.
This logo came with my old '67 Superlead when I bought it many years ago....it was replaced because it had a break in it but according to the original owner it was the original logo...
Totally agree.....I'd always go for a right angle bulgin if possible.
I'd get a new plug Trapland.......if it falls out when you're working the amp hard you can have issues. Not worth the risk on an old amp for a few £'s?
Hi Guys
As I have 2 of these PA20s I've decided to sell one to fund the purchase of an old Fender amp.
This is a 1972 PS 20 which is, I believe, completely original. I may well have missed something so please free to point anything out.
The chassis label is dated 1972 and the...
Very nice amp and these early '72 JMP 50s are nice!
Re the bulgin plug......I'd be tempted to buy a new plug and probably socket as well. They're widely available here in the UK and I've just replaced the socket on one of my old JMP 50s. Got a pair of 'new old stock' sockets (the size you...
What speaker is the cab loaded with? Can you post a couple of photos? Ta. Are you happy to ship within the uk? If you're having problems posting photos and want to email them just ping me a PM.
Cheers
