Oh, I bet you searched hard enough. It's all in the search words.
"marshall avt settings pdf"
I bet you searched "manual" instead of "settings"
Glad that helped. :yesway:
I have a friend that had a large benign tumor removed from his brain and is doing very well to this day. IIRC his operation was almost 15 years ago.
He ignored his worsening head aches for a long time. Another friend made him go to the hospital on a particularly bad headache episode, and at...
You're very welcome. If I were you, I'd replace both fans while you're in there. Here is another source for the fans. In the first linked site, the fourth fan down is for the AVT amps.

From Amazon - the ball bearing type...
I just covered this recently. Check out the "The ATV thread". Post #57 on. Post to the linked thread if you have any other questions. One of your fans is going out with out a doubt. I've had a few go out over the years. That sound is unmistakable. They're easy to replace and cheap...
In my experience the fans don't stop because of a electrical related problem. The bushings wear out because the stock fans are not ball bearing. You'll hear the fan making a winding noise if this starts. If the winding noise stops, it my be not turning at all.
Here is a link to a photo of the...
wmachine, that is a pretty good deal you got there if the amp is in good shape. Consider when I purchased mine new at a local guitar shop it was just under 500.00 dollars.
One thing people should know about, certainly the 150 head and combo if not other AVT amps is that the little cooling fans...
Congrats on the Marshall! I really like the AVT amps. Count me as one of the people whom can hear the difference in different 12ax7s. It might be less about tone though, and more and sizzle. Some sound hot, some don't.
As far as settings go. You just have to always be experimenting as your...
I've done it a few times on my AVT 150. It's an easy job IMO. The 150 has two fans. It's likely that the 275 does as well.
This is a fairly common problem with this amp series. I can't be sure which type fans are used in the 275 as I've never been in one, but I'd bet they're the same as the...
Observation time:
It's just a pile of gear with the head sitting where the top speaker cab usually sits.
Look at where the mic would be if the second cab was in place.
"The speaker criticism is valid, however (esp on the AVT20 which only has a 10" speaker). I use mine through a vintage 4 x 12 Cab! Sounds superb, and at manageable volumes!"
This is true. The AVT 20 through a 4x12 is simply amazing.
I have the AVT 20, 50 and 150 with extension cab. They...
Oh jezz. Who cares? You're trolling if you take this off topic to prove some insignificant point.
Call it what ever the heck you want. I really could care less.
I could see this, if we were in the repair section, however.
You know, it's this kind of petty bickering and calling people out...
Errr ahhhh, If you want to call bs because of some tiny technicality, go ahead. You sound silly. It's always been referred to as a preamp tube.
Go to page 3 paragraph 1 of the Marshall AVT manual and read what it says.
