Okay first step should have been eliminating other variables.
I spent an hour touring on the PCB.
First thing to do is run a patch cable and push FX switch in.
If there's no volume loss it is not the amp it's pedal board or cables.
In my case it was planet waving patch cables that were...
My 40C developed the same problem,
Tried the small PCB push and
the FX loop switch is still BIG MUTE switch.
Guess I'll take her apart once more use cleaner through next chance.
LP Trad Pro II (Pro I aside from +10db boost switch)
Vintage Sunburst
On top of the boost switch,
it came with Ding from pickguard nut that I found while waxing it. :squint:
Most of my favorite riffs are there in this clip. Tho I really like rainbow in the dark and DIO, that song isn't worthy choice up there.
I'm more of Blues and Led Zeppelin listener nowadays but those hard cutters are good to listen to once in a while.
ì‹ ëŒ€ì² - Third Stone From The Sun (Jimi Hendrix cover) (ìˆ˜ìš”ì˜ˆìˆ ë¬´ëŒ€, E22, 110309) - YouTube
One of my favorite cover.
Probably a 70's JMP and 60~70's Strat

Main problem I'm having with the amp is that
it gets muddy playing lower strings (e.g. Train of Consq - megadeth) on Lead 2 with Gain above 7+ especially on my Jackson KV with mustaine active PU, and 10~52.
LesPaul with 57 PU is okay but still is bit muddy playing lower spectrum..again with...
no no, hold your horses man haha.
I'v traded it in as $300.00 toward DSL 40C.
Frankly, I wouldn't buy it at $350.00 as its gain stage sounds like #@*%.
It still there at GC hollywood store, priced at $449.00
Yup it is, but that is the market price from used at GC or recent Ebay transaction I'v been seeing. Must be the production numbers influenced during great recession. (Thanks to Mr. Greenspern)
But yeah I'v ended up trading it in for DSL40C just today.
Hot diggity tubes here I go.
So consider...
