Marshall Origin 50H hum
Mine NEVER hums... and no, it is not 'normal'. I think I see the pattern though... is everyone with hum issues in the USA? victory v 30 countess mkll swap with JVM?
So... The Countess is a 6L6 beast; not like the JVM at all... indeed *everything* Marshall you've mentioned uses EL34's... the 'classic' post-plexi sound. Nothing else can ever nail it. I had the JVM 4xxC (model number?) 100W combo... loved it but, yeah... was perfect for a studio 'everything'...- Mike Sadler

Silver Jubilee Re-Issue Rhythm Clip Footswitch Mod
Hi Adrian. I am w-a-y interested in this... I'm guessing you are selling this is a DIY install? Ideally, I'd want to keep the back panel 'stock' and wire up the existing footswitch jack with a stereo plug and use a standard Marshall 2 button footswitch... *should be* doable? Ditto front panel...- Mike Sadler
