    Worked on the power amp side last 2 nights. I upgraded the 2 large resistors. They were the white ceramic bricks, I think they were ugly, these Ohmites are much better looking.

    Seems to be the tube. Nik sent an oring and rubber grommets for mounting the tube socket to the chassis. I can get closer pics when I get home to see how he had done it. For isolating vibrations from the EF86

    The buss material is nice, it’s copper and comes with the kit. It’s the length I may change.

    Thanks, I’ll post all the way to the end with pics. My son is gonna like it a lot. The EF86 circuit has some fuzz in it and he likes fuzz a lot.

    Got a new kit to build. As always Nik promptly shipped the kit and I received it 4 days later. Wow 1/2 way around the world in 4 days, thanks Nik. I’ve already started and here are some pics.

    biasing an amp by OT viltage drop.

    I have a tube tester and ran them all through and they were all pretty much the same. It doesn’t do conductance but good enough to let me know they are good anyway. I’m happy with that. Already passed it ti the owner. Thanks for all the input I appreciate it. Mark
