    thanks for the welcome! phew, glad I asked! I guess I was thinking it's like adding an extension cab to a combo amp like I did with my old blackstar ht5r, but now I wonder if I was doing that properly. thanks so much for the info. I'll just stick with using the 2x12 cab alone then.
