    That’s how the OG bad cats looked. I’m lucky enough to have a friend who worked there in the early days and he has a few of the OG prototype amps and this gain stage and the way it’s laid out is how they are done in those amps. I have a picture I’ll see if I can dig it up.

    Basically it flips the track upside down instead of reversing it. Best way I can explain it. Which puts it in the opposite spectrum it’s not phase inversion but the tracks for the deeper backups are inverted on the center axis through the track. I’m not a pro I just know it sounds cool lol

    Thanks! They should be coming through both speakers. I just have one set phase inverted to push it further out in stereo. Makes it really wide sounding.

    The bottom end of all the filter caps are bulged and leaking. It’s not photographed. I’m not going to attempt to power this on without putting new filter caps in.

    I take out and replace the bulging and exploded filter caps first. So I can safely bring up the power to then see what is wrong.

    I change strings when the G string no longer can unison bend. Usually 2 weeks of playing 4-8 hours a day and the string just won’t find pitch that’s when I know when to change them lol

    I’ve been playing in bands on stage since I was 14 years old. This was the only time I’ve ever had anything like this happen. 90% of the musicians I played with over the years were serious and dedicated. This was just a fluke.

    I haven’t had cable television since I was 14 years old. Now 33. I’m a streaming house and I basically only watch YouTube. My wife has her prime and whatever else she watches. But yeah, I only watch YouTube mainly podcasts and documentary style channels about occult, religion and philosophy.
