I have had my 410H for 7 years and never had a problem with it. I gigged with it for a couple of years but mostly use it for occasional practice now. I'm using a Marshall Studio amp with a 212 speaker cabinet mostly these days. I have always had good luck with tube amps. Knock on wood. The 410H...
I bought the BluesBreaker, DriveMaster and ShredMaster earlier this year. Great pedals. I got the DriveMaster but not the Guv'nor because it is the same pedal without a Loop connection according to Marshall. They both claim JCM800 sound.
I ordered all 4 of the Marshall Studio Amps, 3 of the Studio 212 speaker cabinets, a 1936 cab and a 1960B cab in April. I received 2 of the Studio Amps and 1 of the 212 speaker cabinets in June. My salesman said the remainder would be here in September but I'm not going to hold my breath. Keep...
It came in yesterday. See picture in previous post.
Over the last few years, the slim taper compound radius has become my favorite neck contour. My Les Paul Classic has a slim taper but not compound radius. The Supremes taper feel different in a good way than the Les Paul and really play great...
I haven't been able to find a Marshall cover for any of the Marshall Studio amps or cabinets. I don't think Marshall has manufactured any. I would purchase them if they did. I have them for all my other Marshall amps and cabinets.
I still love the 4x12. I have 4x12's, 2x12's and 1x12's. I will probably never play a venue that would need a 4x12 or two these days but if I did, I would hire a young buck to handle these for me as I am not a young buck anymore. The smaller bars I might play these days would only require a 212...
Guitar Center are about all that's left around Miami. Sam Ash shut down. Not sure if GC can do what you want but check with them. There is one on Kendall Drive. If you find any other good techs, post them here. They are far and few in between in south Florida nowadays.
Just found out my new Gibson SG Supreme came in today. I hope that I have it in my hands next week. I told my salesman to ship it priority shipping. I will post pictures when it arrives. This is my last guitar order this year. Still waiting for some Marshall equipment to come in that I ordered...
I'm still waiting on two more Marshall Studio Amps and 4 Marshall cabinets that I ordered in April. Let's get that boat loaded, Marshall. My salesman said it should be this month so hoping I get hit with a blizzard of Marshall sound. As others have stated, I also own the JVM 410H and can verify...
Nostalgia wants me to buy another 100-watt head, but I doubt I will ever use the 100-watt amp I already have for a gig again. I use the 20-watt Marshalls with pedals and occasionally a modeler with FRFR speaker nowadays. I'm also one of the few people who don't believe in attenuators. I see no...
This is the plainest Gibson SG I own. A 70's Tribute and cost only $600 new when I bought it in 2018. It did come with Grovers, 24 frets and Dirty Fingers pickups but no binding or fancy coating. It plays great and the Dirty Fingers will bring distortion out of most any amp. I prefer SG's and...
I have two of the SG Supremes already. A wine red two pickup and ebony 3 pickup. These are the best playing SG's or maybe any guitar I have ever owned. THe specs are here: https://www.gibson.com/en-US/p/Electric-Guitar/SG-Supreme/Wine-Red
Gibson is releasing a new SG Supreme Koa. It is a Sweetwater exclusive only and will be released in October. They are taking pre orders now and I have ordered me one. I have already purchased two of the new Gibson Supreme's this year. One is wine red and the other an ebony 3 pickup model which...
