Hi,
I needed a new red rocker power switch and accidentally purchased one that was rated for 240vac. Any idea if this will work in my 2203? My mains are 120vac...

I suspect the bulb will work according to things I have read, but may not be as bright as designed.

Any ideas?

I will receive the switch in a week or two.

Interesting. I never looked at the rating of my original switch from 76’ as it’s still in my amp.

I’ll check it out. As long as the light fires up, I’ll be happy with it.

That is just the rating for the contacts.

The older 5 terminal switches used the 120V winding for the bulb even when the amp was used for 240V mains.

The newer 4 terminal switches are used universally. The neon bulb will run on 120 or 240.
U.S. or UK, it will be the same part.
